While growing up, Lisa had the experience of moving with her parents several times. In fact, since she was a small child until now, Lisa has moved a total of thirteen times! Ten of those moves have been in the Georgetown area! Out of this experience, as each home was sold and another one purchased, Lisa learned quite a bit about the moving process, the emotions tied into each experience and what it meant to live in a safe environment and community. When Lisa graduated from Georgetown High School and moved to Waterloo to attend Wilfred Laurier University, she yet again experienced another type of move – this one towards independence and personal growth. Once she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies and Sociology, she moved back to her roots, Georgetown, a place she called home. Lisa worked for her parents in their family-owned travel business for the next six years. At home in her role, Lisa was a Branch Manager and Travel Consultant for two of their six locations. She increased offices sales in their Georgetown and Acton locations by 550% within three years and earned Pacesetter status in 2000 for producing in excess of 1 million dollars in sales annually. Lisa took a break from the Travel Industry while pregnant with her son and began working towards her career in the Real Estate Industry. With a love of houses, probably from her childhood experiences, it was a perfect match. It is also, Lisa’s experience as a wife and mother, that feeds her desire to help others find the right house and make it their home.
